  • Planalto Palace

  • National Congress

    One of the greatest monuments of the city, Congress houses the Senate and House of Representatives. The highlights are the two domes representing the plenary: the dome larger (concave) of the full House of Representatives and the small dome (convex), the plenary of the Senate.

  • JK Bridge

    With extension of 1200 meters and an impressive design the bridge connects the Lago Sul, Paranoá and São Sebastião to the central part of the Pilot Plan, crossing Lake Paranoá. The bridge has existed since 2002 and quickly became the city's icon.

  • JK Memorial

    Founder of Brasilia, the former president Kubitschek earned his own personal memorial in 1981 which houses personal belogins, his personal library, photos, and even his own grave.

  • Cathedral of Brasilia

    The Metropolitan Cathedral of Nossa Senhora da Aparecida, also known as the Cathedral of Brasilia, was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 1970. It has Alfredo Ceschiatti sculptures, stained glass windows painted by Marianne Peretti and bronze sculptures of Dante Croce which are exposed in the plaza of the temple entrance.

  • National Museum

    Another of the renowned Oscar Niemeyer works, the museum was opened in 2006 with the National Library - both make up the Cultural Complex of the Republic.

  • Pontão do Lago Sul

  • Ermida Dom Bosco

    Inaugurated in 1957 the Chapel was built in honor of Don Bosco, the priest who predicted 74 years before the birth of Brasilia. Located near the shores of Lake Paranoá the Chapel also features an ecological park.
